Recently, a delegation from Bali International Tourism and Business College, one of the overseas partner institutions of Jinan Vocational College, visited Jinan and engaged in a symposium.
During the symposium, representatives from Jinan Vocational College extended a warm welcome to David, briefly introduced the situation of Jinan Vocational College, and reviewed the achievements made by both sides during their visit to Indonesia in October last year. Additionally, they expressed hopes for fruitful outcomes from the current exchange. Subsequently, the delegation from Bali International Tourism and Business College expressed gratitude for the warm reception and expressed willingness to engage in pragmatic discussions on cooperation topics of mutual interest.
Detailed discussions and exchanges were conducted on five projects being collaborated on or planned for 2024, including the construction of the Indonesia-Bali College, the China-ASEAN Thousand Schools Together Plan project application, the 3+1 undergraduate education talent cultivation in tourism management, publication of bilingual English-Chinese tour guide scripts for Bali, and lectures on excellent traditional Chinese culture. Ultimately, consensus was reached, and a memorandum of understanding was signed.
After the meeting, the delegation from Bali International Tourism and Business College visited the Intelligent Manufacturing Training Center, New Energy Vehicle Training Center, Logistics Training Center, and Shandong Provincial Tourism Talent Training Base of the School of Tourism Management, focusing on the simulation tour guide training room, smart tourism training room, recording studio, and Shandong Provincial Vocational Education (Zeng Xiai) Master Studio.
It is reported that Jinan Vocational College and Bali International Tourism and Business College signed a cooperation agreement in December 2021, establishing the Jinan Vocational College North Cultural Tour Guide Training Center in Indonesia. They have since carried out a series of online and offline exchange activities and trained more than 60 international Chinese tour guide talents for Bali, paving a new path for higher vocational colleges to go global in vocational education.
Amidst the atmosphere of the Chinese New Year, friends had a delightful time experiencing the charm of traditional Chinese customs in Jinan. This event not only enriched their understanding of Chinese culture but also brought them closer together. Many expressed their intentions to share the cultural charm of China with more people in the future, contributing to the promotion of cultural exchange.
